Company Stories

The company UNIPLAST was established in June 1990 by an association of two entrepreneurial individuals - ing. Milan Hovorka and Jan Hudec. As a limited liability company, the company under the name UNIPLAST, s.r.o. was registered in the Commercial Register on 31 August 1995 and is currently in the hands of the sole family owner, Mr. Jan Hudec Jr., who is continuing in his father's footsteps.

The company name came from the combination of the words UNIversal PLASTics. As is evident from the name, the company offers a wide range of plastic products that are processed using the vacuum forming method.

Quality

The quality management system according to the ISO 9001 standard was introduced in the company on 24 January 2003, when we received a certificate valid for the process of „plastics production and sales“. Since then, the company has been undergoing regular supervisory and recertification audits. The established quality management system is a guarantee for us of fair relations with our business partners and guarantees the fulfilment of all customer needs and wishes.

Renewable resources

At the turn of 2025 and 2026, with the help of EU co-financing, we installed a photovoltaic system, thanks to which the company will be able to significantly reduce the energy consumption of buildings. This will save energy costs, increase the energy self-sufficiency of our own electricity production, and reduce the ecological impact on the environment by using renewable resources.
